Each ponytail extension features 100% Remy human hair that can be cut, colored, washed and heat styled just like your natural locks. With exception to our 18" curly ponies, each L&M clip-in ponytail comes straightened and air dries with a natural wave.
Play with color by matching your L&M ponytail to either the middle or ends of your hair to suit your mood. For mane babes with multidimensional or highlighted hair, often 2-3 shades could be a match for you.

50 Seconds to Fabulous
Apply your Locks & Mane ponytail extension in less than a minute and get ready for 50 Seconds to Fabulous! Start by tying your securing your hair into a ponytail or bun using an elastic. For finer haired babes, we recommend creating a tight bun using two elastics to create an ultra secure base for your extension. Next, insert the comb of your ponytail extension into the top of your own pony, as close to your scalp as possible. For a comfortable fit, ensure the comb is parallel to your scalp. Finally, wrap the ponytail around the base of your own using the included hook and loop fastener. Use hair pins to secure the remaining hair around the base for a polished look.

How do I choose the right shade for me?
Get ready to meet your match!
When looking for your Locks & Mane shade, always reference the ends of your hair for a seamless blend. Even undyed locks contain several variations and are often lighter towards the end from sunlight exposure or natural damage like dryness or breakage. Changing your color? All Locks & Mane extension products can be dyed, toned or color shampooed to perfectly match your new hue. Bleaching any extension is highly discouraged as the extension cuticle is pre-processed and more susceptible to damage.

How often should I wash my extensions?
Just like your natural hair, when to wash your extensions is a matter of personal preference! Since extensions do not directly receive oils from your scalp like your locks do, they probably only need to be washed every 6-8 weeks, depending on your usage. When the extensions start to feel dry, it’s probably time for a wash. If your clips are feeling constantly dry even after conditioning, it could be time for a new set!
